Touch Designer

WeatherBot takes real world weather data fetched from the internet and imports it into Touch Designer. This data is analyzed, and the display is updated to reflect current weather patterns, including a sliding color scale that represents the temperature. Five different weather patterns are supported, as well as any whole-number temperature measurement. For the above example, weather data was inserted directly into the application, rather than being fetched from the internet.

Using Touch Designer, this application can track physical objects and overlay information on top. It can further be customized to play sounds based on objects, display coordinates, or trigger any number of other events/animations.

Using Touch Designer, this application can track movement and respond to actions in real time. In the above example, movement is tracked and colorful streaks of light are overlayed on the video feed.

Vuforia

Created using Vuforia in Unity Game Engine, this application identifies a trigger image and overlays a 3D model on top. The model moves around with the trigger image, and can respond to touch events, including taps, swipes, and pinches.
